Football WAG Rebecca Judd has revealed how her wedding dress created an unlikely connection with basketball star Michael Jordan.

Judd has been teasing her links to Jordan on her radio show the 3PM Pick Up, amid the release of the hugely popular Jordan documentary The Last Dance.

But it turned out to be a pretty tenuous link, with the former Perth native revealing that Jordan’s second wife Yvette Prieto was inspired by the gown she wore when she said “I do” to AFL star Chris Judd.

“So, J’Aton Couture made my wedding gown,” Judd said.

“They called me one day and said, ‘we have a trip to the US for a really important client and they’re really interested in your wedding dress.”

While it took some time for her to discover the mystery client, Judd agreed to hand over her wedding gown, reception dress and bridesmaids dresses to the designer so they could show them to Prieto.

“There’s an image... and she’s in it with Michael on the dance floor and it’s the same silhouette as my wedding dress and the same photo, very similar, of Chris and I, in a similar pose on the dance floor,” she said.

“And she’s gone on and had twins!

“And then I’ve married the white GOAT and she’s married the black GOAT...GOAT, that’s ‘greatest of all time’ in case you’re wondering.”

Fans of the basketball star did notice that Prieto was missing from the hit Netflix series The Last Dance, but the pair are notoriously private.

Prieto used to date Julio Inglesias Junior, brother to popstar Enrique Inglesias, but met Jordan in 2007.

The pair tied the knot in an extravagant Florida ceremony in 2013.

But that wedding may have been a bit more lavish than the Judd’s, with a rumoured price tag of around $15,000,000 AUD at the time and featured performances from the likes of Usher and Robin Thicke.
