More than one thousand UWA students gathered at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday night for the ECOMS Ball 2026: City of Stars.

Dubbed “The Biggest Ball in the Southern Hemisphere”, the event has been a popular fixture of the university’s social calendar for decades.

Attendees are traditionally Business School students, though students from several other areas of study were also represented.

Guests on the night were treated to entertainment from a live band and DJ.
