Designed with summer entertaining in mind, 18 Bournemouth Parade reflects the vibrancy of family life.

On a generous 809sqm allotment in Trigg, the modern seaside property takes design cues from its coastal location.

From the outset, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home showcases hallmark Hamptons timber balustrades, low-maintenance cladding and the classic interplay of indoor and outdoor connectivity.

Greeting all those who enter with pitched, high cathedral-style ceilings and travertine floors, the light and airy interiors begin in the hallway, leading onto the free-flowing kitchen, dining and living area.

“The home has a timeless Hamptons meets coastal Queensland aesthetic – it’s got elegance and grace, but it’s also a comfortable and inviting home,” Realmark Coastal Director Sean Hughes said.

When only the best will do, the kitchen features Essastone benchtops, Miele integrated fridge/freezers, three V-Zug ovens and an induction stovetop for keen cooks.

On cooler evenings, sit around the feature stone fireplace in the lounge room or make the most of the spectacular alfresco entertaining area on warmer nights.

Open the seamless sliding stacker doors and gather family around the outdoor kitchen – the resort-style backyard is sure to be a hit with a shimmering heated swimming pool, spa, outdoor shower and quality decking.

“I feel like everyone I’ve spoken to about this home has a different area they love,” Mr Hughes said. “A lot of people love the family retreat and lounge area because of the fantastic ocean views.

“Personally I love the alfresco, lounge and pool area, it’s a great area for entertaining, with a section to hold a family dinner on a Friday night or sunset drinks on a Sunday.”

Back inside and up the stone staircase, enjoy a pinot noir while taking in the views from new heights on the balcony.

If your drink needs a top up, there’s no need to head downstairs to the kitchen – make the most of the adjacent kitchenette in the lounge room.

Also on this floor is the luxurious master suite with fixtures and fittings that give a nod to the historical character of an original Hamptons home.

As a natural extension, unwind in the freestanding bath or under the overhead rain showerhead in the ensuite – afterwards pick out your favourite threads from the adjoining walk-in robe.

The kids and additional guests aren’t forgotten with the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms dotted throughout the home.

The minor bedrooms feature 100 per cent wool carpets, louvre shutters to capture the sea breeze and a beachy palette to mimic the home’s style.

Located a stone’s throw from Trigg Beach, don’t forget to dust the sand off your feet as you return home.

“The area of Trigg is fantastic – the nearby underpass allows for direct beach access, there’s great schools nearby and the newly developed Karrinyup shopping centre is only around the corner,” Mr Hughes said.

“Taking a morning walk along nearby West Coast Highway will be a new simple pleasure.”
