Police located missing Travis Leon Rodd who removed his electronic monitoring device more than a week ago

Police have located a man more than a week after he removed his monitoring device and went on the run.

Travis Leon Rodd removed his electronic monitoring bracelet at about 4.30pm on May 19.

Albany detectives put out a public plea for his whereabouts the next day, asking for anyone with information about his recent movements or location to come forward.

Police announced on Friday the 45-year-old, who is known to frequent areas around Albany, Mt Barker and Katanning had been located.

He was missing for 11 days.

Members of the public were urged not to approach Mr Rodd if sighted.
