Trailblazing trio to join ACCI’s International Women’s Day forum

A trailblazing Air Commodore, a hostage survivor and an accomplished leadership trainer will inspire locals at Centennial Stadium this International Women’s Day.

The remarkable trio form an exciting line-up of speakers set to take the stage at the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual Great Southern Women’s Leadership Forum.

Rabia Siddique, an international humanitarian lawyer, retired British Army officer, terrorism prosecutor and hostage survivor will share her fascinating story.

Australian Defence Force senior officer Fiona Dowse will also share her experiences as the first woman employed in the air-movement field and the first female exchange officer to be sent to the US Air Force Air Mobility Command.

Coach and leadership trainer Kylie Cutten will draw on her more than two decades of business experience to rally the crowd.

Choose to Challenge is the theme of this year’s celebrations.

“It’s important for women to carve out time for themselves, in safe spaces where they can speak openly, share their stories and connect,” ACCI chief executive Benita Cattalini said.
