Cullens Wines named best in the State, one of the best in the nation

Cullens Wines has been recognised as one of the best wineries in the nation in the Real Review’s Top Wineries list. A tasting team sampled more than 10,000 wines, scoring each out of 100, with Cullens Wines placing eighth overall — the highest-placing WA winery. Judge Huon Hooke noted the Diana Madeline cabernet merlot 2022 as a standout, as well as the Kevin John Legacy Series Flower Day chardonnay 2022. Yarra Yering in Victoria was named the overall winner. Owner Vanya Cullen OAM thanked her staff and crew for the recognition. “We are delighted to be amongst such a stellar cast of wineries . . . such an amazing accolade for a small boutique, biodynamic Wilyabrup Margaret River producer,” she said. “We attribute this success to the incredible team — Andy Barrett-Lennard, winemaker Brian Martin, vineyard managers and their unwavering commitment to biodynamic farming, resulting in the fruit quality that makes these exceptional wines.”
