Bodies of woman and man found in shipping container on NSW farm

The decomposing bodies of a woman and a man have been discovered inside a shipping container on a remote farm property in Central West NSW, with police investigating the pair’s cause of death.

The woman, aged 37, and man, aged 55, were found at the Gulgong property, about 290km north of Sydney, about 11am on Saturday, April 13.

“On arrival, officers attached to Orana-Mid Western Police District located two bodies in a shipping container,” police said on Thursday.

“A crime scene was established and forensically examined. A post-mortem was conducted to determine the cause of death.

“Inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.”

The police also confirmed they were not treating the deaths as suspicious.

The Daily Telegraph has identified the woman as Kelly Williams.

It has also been reported the police discovered a small butane heater inside the container.
