Body of man found floating in waters near Sydney’s Star Casino

Police are investigating after the body of a man was found floating in water near Sydney’s busy Star Casino.

The body was reportedly discovered in waters off Pirrama Wharf in Pyrmont about 7.30am on Friday.

Police told 7News the man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 50s.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
