The South West indigenous community will be highlighted at this year’s CinefestOZ with the launch of IndigifestOZ.

Community Day with IndigifestOZ will be a fully immersive experience for film lovers showcasing Indigenous film, food and products.

Set to take place on August 28, organisers are calling on the indigenous community to join in and ensure the inaugural event is a success by opening a stall at the event.

CinefestOZ community manager Gabrielle Whirledge said the day will provide an opportunity for the region’s indigenous businesses and organisations to showcase their culture alongside renowned and emerging Aboriginal filmmakers.
