Bertram man charged over Perth nightclub dance floor sex assault

A man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a woman at a Perth nightclub.

Police say the woman was on the dance floor of the Murray Street club at 1.50am on March 29 when the man, who was not known to her, committed the assault.

The 32-year-old man has been charged with sexual penetration without consent and unlawful and indecent assault.

He is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.

Detectives from the sex assault squad are still investigating the incident and want to speak to anyone who was at the nightclub between March 21 and 29 who may have information about this or any similar incidents.
