At man has been killed in a single-car crash in Perth’s southern suburbs in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Major crash detectives will attend the scene of the serious crash, which happened just after 4am in Mundijong.

It’s believed two people were in the silver BMW sedan, which hit a pole near the intersection of South Western Highway and Pruden Road.

The driver suffered massive injuries in the crash and died at the scene.

The road was closed this morning, but has since been reopened.
