By the time paramedics arrived at the amusement park at 12.15pm, she had regained consciousness and was breathing.

The girl was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital in a critical condition before she was transferred to Perth Children’s Hospital.

A woman who pulled the girl from the water told 7NEWS she was incredibly shaken up by the incident.

Adventure World chief executive Andrew Sharry praised the two park guests who leaped into action and took her out of the water for playing a “pivotal role” in saving her life.

“Early this afternoon an unsupervised five-year-old girl was retrieved. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the guests,” Mr Sharry said.

“Our thoughts are with the young girl and her family. We have reached out to the parents to offer our support.”

Hundreds of children and their families were inside Adventure World at the time and the park remained opened to the public following the incident.

The incidents come after a three-year-old boy was found dead in Greenfields backyard pool on Thursday after his family had first thought he had gone missing.

His absence had sparking a major police operation in the Mandurah suburb, however, he was tragically discovered about 2pm at a Kookaburra Drive property.

Late on Friday night, a toddler was left fighting for life after being found in a Crown Melbourne hotel pool.

Emergency services were called to Whiteman Street in Southbank about 10pm after reports that a child had been found unresponsive in the pool.

The toddler was given medical assistance at the scene before being taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
