Lake Grace superstar Nat Fyfe again led from the front but his influence was not enough to prevent the Fremantle Dockers from slipping to their third straight loss of the AFL season.

The Dockers skipper and Lake Grace product was named in the Dockers’ best players in their 29-point loss to Port Adelaide in the second game of a double-header at Metricon Stadium on Sunday night.

Fyfe racked up 23 touches, four tackles, three clearances, three marks and three inside 50s to go with a last-quarter goal as he tried to drag his side to their first win of 2020.

The Dockers, however, fell to their third straight loss, under new coach Justin Longmuir and now face an in-form Gold Coast Suns in round four this weekend.

Last Thursday, Katanning-born Shai Bolton was one of just four goal kickers for Richmond as they were beaten by Hawthorn at the MCG.

Bolton gathered nine touches and three marks in the Tigers’ 32-point loss while also having three inside 50s and five score involvements but his impact was in vain as the Hawks completely outplayed the reigning premiers.

The Tigers face St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.

Pingaring’s Liam Baker will be considered as an inclusion for the Tigers after missing last week’s loss to attend the funeral of a close friend.

Baker was granted an exemption from the State’s 14-day quarantine period on compassionate grounds and has returned to the Tigers where he will train this week to put his hand up for selection.
