Crews from Bunbury, Australind, Eaton and Brunswick contain garage fire in Leschenault

Firefighters and volunteers along with more than three Department of Fire and Emergency Service Tankers attended a Leschenault home this morning after the attached garage caught ablaze.

DFES received the call at 10.30am and crews from Bunbury, Australind, Eaton and Brunswick extinguished the blaze half-an-hour later.

Damage costs have yet to be determined and the DFES are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

Everyone inside the Weller Loop property, that backs on the the Forrest Highway, was evacuated safely.
