‘Too beautiful for this world’: Tributes flow for Dee Annear whose body was found in a Bulga Forest cabin

Tributes are flowing for a NSW woman whose body was found inside a cabin in remote bushland on the state’s mid north coast.

The body of Dee Annear, 34, was discovered inside the cabin on Pole Dump Forest Road, in the Bulga Forest, on Saturday morning.

Rohen Hanson, Ms Annear’s partner, has been charged with murder.

Distraught friends and family have paid tribute to the “beautiful” woman.

“My beautiful friend. Fly high gorgeous, forever in our hearts,” one person wrote on Facebook.

Another said they would miss her “cheeky giggle” while one mentioned that she was “far too beautiful for this world”.

“I love you Dee Dee, you will always be in my prayers and I will see you one day. Save me a seat beautiful,” one said.

Her cousin wrote: “God bless my beautiful cousin. My heart is truly broken.”

Ms Annear’s friend Janelle Reynolds added that she was deeply caring and had a huge heart.

A short time after discovering Ms Annear’s body, police found a silver Holden Rodeo utility just off Old Blue Knob Road, Bulga Forest, about 3km west of the cabin.

A secondary crime scene was established around the vehicle.

Police spoke to Mr Hanson, 38, before he was taken to Taree Police Station.

He was charged on Sunday with breaching an apprehended violence order and driving a vehicle while disqualified before being granted conditional bail.

Following further inquiries police arrested him at a home on Killawarra Street, Wingham, on Tuesday afternoon.

He was taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with murder.

Mr Hanson was refused bail and will appear at Taree Local Court on Wednesday.
