Jared Blakeney and Addison Orr secure double wins during round three of Geraldton Motocross action

The third round of the Geraldton Motox Club’s season was a full-day event packed with excitement and competitive spirit.

Thanks to the hard work of club volunteers, the dry track was well-watered, providing ideal conditions for a day full of slides, skids, and thrilling manoeuvres.

In the A-grade races, Jared Blakeney showcased his exceptional skills and consistency to claim the top spot overall. Ricky Edwards, with solid performances throughout the day, secured second place, while Seth Patience’s steady riding earned him a commendable third.

Makala Edwards dominated the B-grade, showing superior speed and control to finish first. Shay Boxsidge, with a series of strong races, took second place, and Josh Rimmer rounded out the podium in third.

Jarrod Divitini emerged victorious in the C-grade category, displaying remarkable determination and skill across his races. Darren Smith took second place with consistent performances, and Lilli Patience demonstrated great potential to finish third.

Blakeney’s excellent form continued in the Vets races, where he secured another first-place finish, Gary Hannson’s steady riding earned him second, with Harley Box completing the podium in third place.

In the 250cc Junior Lites, Eddy Fay put on a stellar performance across multiple races to take first place. Charlie Humphries was close behind in second, with Zarla Giltrap showing great promise to secure third.

Addison Orr raced to victory in the 125cc Junior Lites, consistently outperforming his competitors. Kaleb Russell finished as the runner-up, showcasing his growing talent.

Angus Fay claimed the top spot in the 85cc Big Wheel category, with strong and consistent races. Orr, racing in multiple categories, secured second place, while Jaxson Monaghan finished third.

Toby Edmonds led the 85cc Small Wheel races, finishing first with impressive rides throughout the day. Jasper Pickering and Taj Giltrap took second and third places, respectively, with competitive performances.

In the 65cc class, Jasper Pickering took the win with exceptional racing. Toby Edmonds and Taj Giltrap again showed their skills, securing second and third places, respectively.

Oliver Monaghan triumphed in the 50cc Division two races, demonstrating his growing prowess. Indie Coombe and Nash Carruthers rounded out the top three with solid performances.
