It wasn’t Santa handing out the presents at Joondalup Health Campus on Christmas morning — it was a mystery man named Wayne.

The good Samaritan — last name unknown — walked into the hospital today and handed out cards with cash to patients and healthcare workers in the emergency department.

Patient Lauren Trench received a card and $100 from Wayne.

“That’s such a beautiful kind thing to do and it really brightened up my day,” she said.

“And I think when you show love like that, the love is shared.

“It was really heartwarming to know someone’s so kind.”

Nurse Tina Montgomery was one of those on Wayne’s nice list.
