A Broome-based hoon has had his car impounded and will face court after allegedly doing burnouts in the South West town of Collie.

The 27-year-old man is alleged to have conducted multiple burnouts on Throssell Street at 1.25 this morning.

His Holden Commodore sedan has been impounded for 28 days and he has been summonsed for reckless driving.

Inquiries are continuing and he may face further charges.
