Colour-in iconic Kalgoorlie-Boulder landmarks through new book

A new colouring-in book invites locals and visitors to add colour to iconic Kalgoorlie-Boulder sites and tourist attractions.
Colour in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, produced by Kalgoorlie-Boulder Visitor Centre, features pages of well-known buildings and heritage spots alongside the story of Paddy Hannan and the discovery of the town.
KBVC general manager Donna Malec said the book featured all the key sites seen along the centre’s tram tour, as well as a few extras.
She said the book was not only for people who had taken the tram tour, but also for anyone who wished to colour-in a piece of the town.
“It started out as an idea so that kids, after they have been on the tram, they can colour in all the places they have been and learn a bit more about the town’s history,” she said.
“We have had a few people order it online, a few who used to live here in the past who thought it was really cool, and that’s really cute.
“And we hope families will come in and buy the book and sit down with their kids and talk about the places they are colouring-in, or even take them out to see them, because it’s really important we get to know our own backyard.”
The colouring-in book can be bought from the KBVC.
