St Joseph’s Primary School presented with Catholic Identity Award for instilling values in school community

A Boulder Catholic school has been recognised Statewide for inspiring its community to faithfully live out gospel values. St Joseph’s Primary School was presented the Catholic Identity Award by executive director of Catholic Education WA Annette Morey. The award commends the school for their “One Body — Many Parts” initiative that aims to authentically embed Catholic identity throughout the community. Principal Tanya Stafford said receiving the award on behalf of the school community was a moment of immense pride. “It is a testament to the spirit, commitment, and faith-filled actions of our entire school community,” she said. “It is also wonderful to see a regional school recognised at this level.” School captains Sienna Maroni and Argyl Rodelas said they worked hard to be the school of choice. “Being a part of this award in our final year of primary school at St Joseph’s makes us so happy and proud,” they said. St Joseph’s was also recognised with a second award in the student-led Initiative category, which acknowledges many projects driven by students and leadership. The school community was brought together to enjoy a cake in celebration of their achievements.
