
Two men have been charged after alleged assaults at a Donnybrook hotel that left two people seriously injured.
Bunbury detectives and Donnybrook police allege the incident occurred about 11.30pm on Friday, July 10, at a hotel on the South Western Highway.
Police allege two men aged 20 and 27 assaulted a 56-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, causing serious injuries.
A 21-year-old female bystander is also alleged to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
It is further alleged the 20-year-old assaulted a 44-year-old man when he attempted to intervene.
The 20-year-old man from Shoalwater has been charged with one count each of doing an act causing bodily harm with intent to harm, grievous bodily harm, common assault and entering a premises contrary to a barring notice.
The 27-year old man from Donnybrook has been charged with one count of doing an act causing bodily harm with intent to harm, one count of grievous bodily harm and one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
Both men are due to appear at Bunbury Magistrates Court on August 3.
