The South Bunbury Football Club has appointed Stephen Bilcich as its league coach for the remainder of the 2019 SWFL season.

Bilcich, who coached the Tigers to a league premiership in 2002, played 215 league games for East Fremantle in the WAFL and is highly regarded within WA football circles.

Tigers president John Castrilli told the South Western Times that Bilcich would also maintain his position as colts coach, in a bid to maintain continuity with all playing groups.

South Bunbury travel to Payne Park on Sunday for the Dale Alcock Homes South West derby against Bunbury.
