Crichton cleared
Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault has cleared 2019 Hayward medallist Jesse Crichton to Northern Tasmanian Football Association side Scottsdale.
But Lions fans should not be concerned, according to league coach John Baggetta.
“He will only be playing one game over there,” he said. “Their season starts before ours and because his dad is a life member of the club, they asked if he would go over there and play.”
One man who has left Brunswick Oval full-time is electric half forward Tim Yarran, who has relocated to Tom Price for work.
Baggetta, who famously praised Yarran for his team-oriented focus after last year’s grand final, hoped the return of Jack Quinn could help fill the void.
“With Quinny returning, we are hoping to get more of the same from him,” he said. “Although both are very different players. Tim is very explosive and Quinny is mobile and a hard worker.”
