Fancy a night with the CinefestOZ stars?
Bunbury residents have the chance to share the spotlight with movie stars by being CinefestOZ volunteers.
Event organisers are recruiting for their "movie crew', for the festival which is on August 26-30.
Film ambassadors, general hospitality, festival promotion and ushers, are among the roles being offered.
CinefestOZ Bunbury events coordinator Carol McDowall said it was a unique opportunity to meet film stars and filmmakers.
"There will be a lot of WA talent and by being part of the movie crew, you can meet the stars and it's a fun thing to be a part of," she said.
"We are looking for students and retirees - a real mix of people for a variety of roles.
"Students will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with people in the industry through the Cinesnaps film competition."
Festival chief executive officer Malinda Nixon said great film festivals around the world relied on volunteers and CinefestOZ had grown its special brand of hospitality.
"Our volunteer movie crew are a terrific group who welcome our audiences, stars and important guests to the South West each year to experience what we think is the friendliest film festival in Australia.
"As the public face of CinefestOZ, movie crew volunteers are incredibly important to the festival.
"With over 40 events and more than 200 screenings, we rely heavily on volunteer support and we are grateful to everyone who is able to give up their time."
