Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault completed an undefeated season in the SWFL after recording a convincing 9.11 (65) to 4.12 (36) victory over the Eaton Boomers at Hands Oval in this afternoon’s grand final.

The Boomers, who are renowned for their attacking play, did not manage to kick a goal until the second-minute mark of the final term.

Post-game, Lions coach John Baggetta was thrilled with his side’s effort.

“When you go pound for pound, we believe we will always have the ability to run through until the end,” he said.

Boomers coach Brett Maguire felt his side was a little bit out-of-sorts.

“We got lost in the occasion,” he said.
