Kate FieldingSouth Western Times

Police have charged a man with murder over the fatal crash which killed Geographe woman Jenni Pratt last month.

Ms Pratt was killed when her RAV4 collided head-on with a Toyota LandCrusier on Bussell Highway near Capel on February 18.

Major Crime Squad officers today charged a 46-year-old Usher man, who is continuing to receive medical treatment, with murder.

The man has been charged with one count each of murder, reckless driving and performing an act causing bodily harm or death.

The man was due to face a bedside hearing either today or tomorrow.

Ms Pratt’s passenger Karen Williams, 54, was also seriously injured in the crash, but has since been released from hospital.
