Busselton recorded a workmanlike 13.6 (84) to 6.7 (43) victory over South Bunbury at Hands Oval last night.

A year which both clubs will be keen to forget, the visitors dominated the early exchanges and managed to weather anything thrown at them by the Tigers.

Daniel McGinlay had the ball on a string again for the Magpies, while Jacob Ness and Jackson Arbon also played well.

In other matches, the Boomers cruised in their 14.19 (103) to 7.12 (54) win over the Harvey Bulls, while Augusta-Margaret River defeated the Collie Eagles 8.7 (55) to 3.3 (21).
