Bunbury has recorded more than 20mm of rain for the first time since September last year, with just over 25mm falling overnight.

Winds had been recorded at more than 30kmh in a westerly direction this morning as a storm hit Perth and the South West.

Last time Bunbury experienced such a downpour was September 14 when 31mm of rain fell and winds reached 57kmh in a south, south-westerly direction.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicts a thunder storm will come through Bunbury this evening, with showers expected every day for the next week.

For those attending Groovin’ The Moo, the conditions are expected to be cloudy, with a chance shower or two and winds travelling northwesterly 15kmh to 20kmh becoming light during the morning.
