“Season two came out in March and having seen similar events happening all over the place, I just thought we should have our own Bridgerton Ball,” she said.

“Then it just sort of spiralled from there really. I’ve been putting the word out and people seem really excited at the idea of getting dressed up in this Regency era clothes and dancing.”

More than 100 tickets have been sold so far and all profits from the evening will go to charities Saving Animals From Euthanasia and Bunbury Women’s Refuge.

Ms Scott said the charities were chosen by fans who plan on attending the event.

“I set up a group on Facebook called South West Bridgerton Ball where everyone who is coming along are sharing outfit plans and things, and we had a poll so members of that group could vote on who they thought would be deserving recipients,” she said.

People interested in attending can buy tickets via Eventbrite, with more information available on Facebook. Tickets will also be available at the door.
