Bunbury police are appealing for help following an incident spanning across Dalyellup, Usher, Glen Iris and Picton that lasted more than 30 minutes yesterday.

Police first saw a Toyota four-wheel-drive ute believed to be stolen about 4.45pm in Dalyellup.

The driver of the vehicle attempted to evade police by driving into nearby bushland.

Residents took to social media yesterday with one person posting footage of the ute coming out of bushland and police in chase.

Police received information about 5.20pm that the vehicle was in scrubland in Picton.

The vehicle was located abandoned a short time later on a track between Picton and Glen Iris.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
