Aqwest annual photography competition winners

For the first time all-abilities sections have been included in the photography competition for students of Greater Bunbury schools organised by Aqwest Bunbury. The first winners of the new category — Leo Payne and Andrew Engelbrecht — were announced at an awards ceremony along with all 15 successful students from more than 300 who entered this year’s Aqwest Photography Competition. Bunbury professional photographers Sarah Henderson from Henderson Photographics and David Bailey from Ampix Photography, said they were impressed with how entrants interpreted this year’s theme Caring for Country and Water and the new level of creativity on show. Each winner received prizemoney for themselves and their schools with their photographs to be included in the popular Aqwest 2024 calendar.
