Cash, scratch and win cards nabbed during Bunbury armed robbery
Two men are still at large after entering a Bunbury newsagency with a knife and a hammer, demanding cash on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at Carey Park Newsagency on Frankel Street about 8.10am on Friday.
After threatening the only employee working at the time with the knife and hammer, one offender allegedly jumped over the counter, according to Det. Sen. Const. Rob Travers.
The pair ran off towards Wisbey Street with cash and scratch and win cards.
Det. Sen Const. Travers said there were several witnesses at the time as the incident occurred during school drop off at Carey Park Primary School.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward or call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
