Colts have set tongues wagging across the Bunbury and Districts Cricket Association in recent weeks, following two comprehensive victories over Eaton and Collie at the Bunbury Recreation Ground. In both matches, Colts’ slick bowling unit dismissed a visiting side for less than 60 runs. However Saturday’s away clash against reigning premiers Marist at Forrest Park — a rematch of last season’s first grade grand final — is likely to be a tougher assignment for Josh Topliss’ side. Player availability has been an issue at times for the Blues this season, due to work commitments. However, when their best side is on the field, they are still capable of beating anybody. At Leschenault Recreation Park, Leschenault, fresh from an impressive win over previously unbeaten Dalyellup, host an out-of-sorts Eaton, while Hay Park will travel up the hill to face Collie at Roche Park. BDCA squad Bradman May, Haydn Slodecki, Jaxon Cornford, Cooper Clarke-Dehring, Blair Malatesta, Tyne Dodds, Cruize Ciallella, Liam Renton, Jacob Wintle, Daniel Brabham, Tim Hutchison, Tyson Italiano.
