Surf Life Saving WA’s helicopter has moved to daily patrols as the South West enters its warmest months.

Traditionally tourists flock to the pristine beaches of the South West for the festive season.

To ensure the safety of beach-goers the Busselton-based helicopter has begun daily aerial surveillance of the popular coastline as of this Monday until February.

The helicopter will cover from Busselton to Hamelin Bay, including Meelup, Bunker Bay, Prevelly and Gracetown.
