Action returns to Donaldson Park tonight, with a full racing program on offer for punters.

An intriguing battle looms in the TabTouch MS Pace (2100m), with several runners holding strong claims for victory.

One of the pre-race fancies is Kaiden Hayter’s six-year-old Hoiho, who has been in exceptional form recently.

Although starting on the second row, the Kiwi bolter has placed in five of his past six starts – including four consecutive second placings in a month.

Aside from an out of character performance on Saturday, Ryan Bell’s six-year-old Midnight Man should also not be discounted, considering his appetite for finishing at the head of the field in Bunbury and Gloucester Park.

The recent Kiwi dominance at the track will be put to the test in the Sky Racing MS Pace (2100m), with Beaudiene Beach Babe potentially locked in an exciting duel with Alister Thompson’s runner Happy As.

Earlier in the night, eyes will be on Shezlikaterror in the United Equipment Fillies and Mares MS Pace (2100m) as she aims to construct back-to-back wins.

Despite being a $15 pre-tote favourite in the opening Sunwise Pace (2100m), Dean Miller’s mare Adda Rockinheaven is also more than capable of upstaging those in front of her – despite starting on the second row.

In a massive coup, the final four races on the program will be broadcast live on Sky Racing 1.
