Bin times put back a day

Bunbury City Council has released its opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period, which will affect a number services and facilities including waste collection.

Normal kerbside recycling and organic collection days will be pushed back a day next week, with no service running on Monday.

Homes which usually get collected on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday and the service will continue a day later until Saturday for other areas.

There will be no change to New Year public holiday collections.

The council’s Administration Building will be closed from 3pm tomorrow until its reopening on January 3.
