Binningup woman lands monster dhufish
South West anglers have returned to their favourite fishing grounds with the seasonal closure of West Coast demersal finfish ending last month.
Binningup resident Sam Ashworth reeled in this monster 21kg dhufish on Saturday in 38m of water while fishing for breaksea cod.
“It’s the biggest I have ever caught, I was really excited,” she said.
“I would wind in, and it would take four times that amount back out.”
