The Eaton Boomers began their SWFL campaign in a blaze of glory after defeating Collie Eagles 26.14 (170) to 11.7 (73) at the Collie Recreation Ground yesterday.

After being challenged during the first half, Brett Maguire’s men proceeded to boot 10 unanswered goals and put the result beyond doubt.

On Saturday, Carey Park recorded a hard fought 8.8 (56) to 5.5 (35) victory over reigning premiers Donnybrook at VC Mitchell Park – while Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault, Augusta-Margaret River and Bunbury also recorded impressive victories.
