Bulls charge into final BBA round

Bulls grabbed top spot on the Bunbury Basketball Association’s Dale Alcock Homes A-Grade women’s ladder on Friday night with a three-point win over Tornadoes.

South West Slammers star Courtney Bayliss led Bulls to the 78-75 victory, scoring 32 points to lead all comers, while teammates Rebecca Preston (17 points) and Brittany Gliddon (15 points) put in solid performances.

Dena English scored a team-high 23 points for Tornadoes, while Tayla Kemp (15 points) and Ebony Bilcich (14 points) put in solid performances.

Bulls have moved ahead on the ladder by percentage, with both teams on 13-2 win/loss records.

Busselton got close to winning their first game of the season but fell three points short against Aces Navy at the Geographe Leisure Centre.

Tori Dugan was the star for Aces Navy.

This Friday night is the final round of the regular season, with Tornadoes to take on Aces White and Aces Navy to battle Bulls.
