Bulls continue playoff charge

Bulls continued their imposing run at the top of the Bunbury Basketball Association’s A-Men standings after defeating Tornadoes Red 89-78 on Friday night.
Travis Durnin led the way for the victors with 25 points, who had the game in their keeping well before the final whistle – although Red ended with a 15-3 offensive run to add respectability to the final margin.
In other A-Men fixtures, Aces Sky and Tornadoes Black recorded emphatic victories over Aces White and Dunsborough Oilers respectfully.
Things were rosier for the Oilers in the A-Women, who recorded their sixth win in a row after taking care of Tornadoes Red 85-77, with a late third quarter 9-0 run proving decisive.
