Bunbury beach pool concept pushed forward by councillors

An ocean pool has been included in Bunbury City Council’s business case priority list.

The council this week voted to include the hotly debated concept for possible further investigation next financial year.

While the council will still have to vote on whether it spends money on the project come budget time, this week’s vote is a step closer than previous concepts.

It follows a fresh push from Cr Todd Brown, who was behind an online campaign which included impressive concept designs of an ocean pool at Wyalup-Rocky Point.
