Bunbury city council gifts land to service
Bunbury City Council will hand over land to South West Aboriginal Medical Services for its multi-million-dollar medical hub.
The council on Tuesday unanimously supported disposing of land at Jaycee Park in Carey Park for the not-for-profit community health service’s $28 million regional health campus.
The project includes clinical and research facilities, administrative offices, a bush tucker cafe and outdoor indigenous park.
The council also voted to waive a $34,196 development application fee for the project.
