Bunbury City Council has repeated its concerns at the cost shift from State to Local government after granting yet another rate exemption to a charitable group.

The council last week supported Alternative Resource Community Housing’s application for a rate exemption worth $8558 a year.

Councillors again voiced their concerns over the move, but conceded they could not refuse it.

The council has previously written to the State Government.
