Bunbury Good Sammy continues its good work with new online service
Good Samaritans has launched an online service to bring more employment opportunities and additional skills for people living with a disability.
The online service provides a catalogue of curated, high-quality products for customers to order from the comfort of their homes.
A click and collect service for Bunbury was in the works for the future, which chief executive Melanie Kiely said could create more jobs.
Ms Kiely said the service had been well-received since its launch.
“We’re trying to focus on creating new and different jobs within the stores,” she said.
The online store will allow people with a disability to learn new skills like management, photography and styling, which are transferable into other aspects of life.
The op shop hopes the new service will help reach additional consumers across the South West who may not have a store in their area, as well as offer more convenience for Bunbury shoppers.
Several staff members have been able to take on additional hours thanks to the new service.
Ms Kiely thanked the South West community for their continuous support during trying times.
