Bunbury heritage-listed house under demolition threat

Bunbury City Council will next week consider a recommendation to approve the demolition of a heritage-listed house.

The long-time owners of the Austral Parade home have applied to demolish the building because the cost to restore it to be structurally sound is unaffordable.

City of Bunbury planning and development services acting director Felicity Anderson has recommended approving the application, despite the opposition of the Heritage Advisory Committee.
