Bunbury Detectives are seeking information about a fire that caused $120,000 worth of damage at a Bunbury home this morning.

Police and firefighters were called to the blaze at the Jarvis Street home about 1.40am after offenders allegedly broke into the garage of the property and set fire to a Mazda CX3 parked inside.

The fire scorched the vehicle, causing an estimated $120,000 worth of damage to the car and the garage.

Detectives are urging anyone with information about the fire or dash-cam footage of Jarvis Street between 1am and 2.30am to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of $50,000 are available for information that helps police identify and convict an arsonist.
