Bunbury suburbs experiencing electricity outages after fallen pole

Homes in Bunbury, Carey Park, South Bunbury and East Bunbury are experiencing electricity outages after a power pole fell down near the corner of Picton Road and Bunning Boulevard.

The pole came down shortly before 1pm and sparked a small fire.

Two crews from Bunbury Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the scene shortly after a call was made at 12.51pm

Police were also in attendance to control traffic flow and Western Power had isolated the lines by 1.15pm.

Nearly 1500 customers have been affected by the outage.
