Bunbury’s Baillie making progress up 10 top list
Bunbury triathlete Ryan Bailie has continued his fantastic ITU World Triathlon Series campaign, finishing 10th in Leeds, England at the weekend.
The 27-year-old has been inside the top 10 of the past four races and now sits sixth in the series.
South African Richard Murray won the round in Leeds, finishing ahead of series leader Mario Mola and France’s Vincent Luis.
Bailie was the third fastest on the bike, setting himself for a good result.
But his run and swim were not fantastic, resulting in him finishing in 10th.
Bailie finished 94 seconds behind Murray, who was just nine seconds in front of Mola.
The series next heads to Hamburg, Germany before heading to Canada for races in Edmonton and Montreal and then finishing on the Golf Coast.
