Business awards to celebrate best of South West

Nearly 40 businesses will vie for awards across 19 different categories when the South West Business Excellence Awards are presented at a gala event at the Quality Hotel Lighthouse on Saturday night.

Business South West chairwoman Dr Robyn Morris said the awards continued to play an important role showcasing local businesses in their 25th year.

“The board and staff at Business South West are passionate about the small and medium sized business community in the South West region,” Dr Morris said.

“We remain strongly committed to ensuring we continue to recognise and celebrate the achievements and successes of our great business community.”

She said that while the board had not specifically looked back to celebrate previous winners during its anniversary year, it was pleasing to see so many continued to thrive in the region.

“The great thing is that many of these award-winning businesses have considerable longevity and are spread across the region,” she said.

Categories for businesses with 21-100 employees have been reintroduced for this year.
