Busselton man Morris Leonard Deale to fight indecent, sexual assault charges against nine different men

A Busselton man accused of indecently and sexually assaulting nine men over eight years is set to face trial in the District Court. Morris Leonard Deale appeared in Bunbury Magistrate’s Court on Monday on a string of charges that included 21 counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault where he pleaded not guilty to all charges. Mr Deale was initially accused of 20 counts of indecent assault but was charged with a further count stemming from an alleged incident in west Busselton between 2017 and 2019. Detectives from Child Abuse Squad will allege Mr Deale indecently and sexually assaulted nine men aged between 16 and 33 years of age from 2012 to 2020. The matter was adjourned for a committal mention on July 5 before they progress to the District Court.
